Tattersall Lorenz receives retail instruction for 34 properties

Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienverwaltung und -management GmbH (Tattersall Lorenz), an owner-operated SME property manager based in Berlin, has received property management instructions for a portfolio of mainly retail properties from an asset manager in southern Germany. It covers all-inclusive property management, i.e. the technical and commercial property management and accounting, of a total of 34 properties in as many different locations.

The single-tenant and multi-tenant assets, which are situated in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia, were built between 1967 and 2019. The properties have a total lettable area of around 72,000 square metres, let to tenants including Aldi, Edeka, Lidl, Netto, Penny, Rewe and Rossmann.

The commission follows a framework agreement concluded between the companies, which includes expanding Tattersall Lorenz's property management responsibilities.

In accepting this instruction, Tattersall Lorenz is significantly broadening its competence in the retail segment. The company now manages 105 retail properties, with a total lettable area of 541,000 square metres.

Susanne Tattersall, founding member and managing director of Tattersall Lorenz, comments: "We are delighted to receive this instruction. It is further confirmation that Tattersall Lorenz has established a reputation as a competent and trusted property manager throughout Germany. The assets will be managed by a team based in our Berlin and Stuttgart offices."

Tattersall Lorenz is currently responsible for the property management of 468 assets, with a total lettable area of ca. 4.2 million square metres. They include office and retail properties, as well as hotels and light industrial investments.
