Tattersall Lorenz expects further growth in 2024
- Five new mandates in 2023
- Dedicated team for ESG management
- Recognized by Real Estate Brand Awards and Bell Report
Berlin, February 22, 2024 - Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienmanagement GmbH, a nationwide operating, owner-managed family business in the field of technical and commercial real estate management, has won five new mandates in 2023. These include the property management of the "OPTINEO" office building in the Werksviertel district of Munich, the property management of one of the four towers of "FOUR Frankfurt" and for "das Center am Potsdamer Platz" (formerly Sony Center) in the heart of Berlin. In addition, GLP Deutschland and Schroeder Real Estate VG mbH were added as new mandates. The new mandates comprise 90 properties in 51 cities and eleven federal states. In total, the company manages 2.3 million square meters of new rental space. In addition, Tattersall Lorenz was able to further expand its management mandates with 13 additional properties. This affects 40 tenants in 10 cities and four federal states.
"2023 was a challenging year for the real estate sector. We are pleased that we were nevertheless able to win new mandates and see the trust placed in us as a result of our reliable work in the past. We have been on a growth trajectory for ten years. With an annual turnover of 19 million euros, 2023 was also successful," emphasizes Susanne Tattersall, company owner and managing partner of Tattersall Lorenz. "The positive development also continued at the personnel level," Susanne Tattersall continues.
Thorsten Bremer has been appointed as Head of Property Management and Thomas Ring as Head of Accounting. Together with Marian Ertl, Head of Technical Management, they will be responsible for the quality assurance of existing mandates and will continue to drive Tattersall Lorenz's growth process. The number of trainees, apprentices, dual students and working students also increased from 14 to 34 in 2023.
The company expects the positive trend to continue in 2024. "The key figures make us confident that we will be able to press ahead with the further development of our client portfolio this year," says Susanne Tattersall. With the Tuteur Haus and Listhaus Leipzig of Art-Invest Real Estate, important mandates have already been acquired at the start of the year, underlining Tattersall Lorenz's ambitions and the trust placed in it. "Professional and sustainable property management is becoming increasingly important despite - or perhaps because of - the challenges in the real estate sector. For 2024, we are once again aiming for sales growth of around 10 percent," emphasizes Susanne Tattersall.
ESG management gets its own team
"In addition to the further development of our client portfolio, one focus in 2023 was on expanding the ESG area. We are convinced of the special importance of corporate standards and have put this conviction into action," emphasizes Susanne Tattersall. In addition to collaborations with Predium, a platform for sustainable real estate management, and Planted, a sustainability platform for CO2 management and reporting, an ESG team is currently being set up. Their diverse tasks include developing health standards for the workforce, energy and building monitoring and reducing waste and consumption in the properties under management. They also ensure diversity and equal opportunities within the company. They are also responsible for implementing CO2 neutrality by 2030, a paperless office, sustainability days at all locations, the elimination of domestic flights and the complete switch to e-mobility by 2030.
