Tattersall Lorenz appointed property manager of Schroder portfolio with a lettable area of over 230,000 square metres

Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienmanagement GmbH (Tattersall Lorenz) has been appointed by Schroder Real Estate VG mbH (Schroder) on the technical and commercial property management of a portfolio of twelve logistics, office and retail properties with a total lettable area of around 231,000 sq m excluding parking.

This is Tattersall Lorenz’s first instruction from Schroder, and the firm will also provide support for letting management and an ESG service contract for the properties.

The twelve properties, built between 1916 and 2022, include c. 76.000 sq m of logistics space, over c. 111.000 sq m of offices, and some c. 34.000 sq m of retail space.

The assets are located in Braunschweig, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Essen, Hamburg, Cologne and Langenhagen in Lower Saxony and the portfolio includes one of more than 200 separate tenants.

"Managing this portfolio is a challenging prospect, not least because the properties belong to various internationally-invested funds with differing accounting requirements. Moreover, Schroder implements a sustainable ESG strategy, which is apparent in its collection of utility consumption data and lettings. However, this is not problematic for us: we have the relevant expertise as well as the necessary specialist staff at our eight locations in Germany," comments Susanne Tattersall, managing partner of Tattersall Lorenz.

Jan Petr, Head of Asset Management, Schroder Real Estate KVG: "We look forward to working with Tattersall Lorenz on this first joint project. Schroders is proud to continue to support the strategic development and growth of these first-class assets through appropriate investments."

The company will manage the properties from its offices in Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Frankfurt.
