New mandate: Tattersall Lorenz to manage PANDA Munich in future

  • Office and commercial building in Munich's Werksviertel district
  • 918 square meters of rental space
  • Mandate includes technical, commercial and pre-property management as well as accounting

Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienmanagement GmbH, an owner-managed company active throughout Germany in the field of technical and commercial property management for commercial real estate, has secured an important mandate with the “PANDA München” office and commercial complex.
Tattersall Lorenz will be responsible for the pre-property management of the property at Anzinger Strasse 29 until its scheduled completion in Q3 2024. This includes construction-related activities and supporting the tenant through to commissioning, as well as managing the tender for a facility management contract and the further coordination of service providers. Subsequently, the Munich branch of the real estate manager, headed by Petra Demko-Gierth, will be responsible for the commercial and technical property management as well as the accounting of the office building in the Werksviertel at Ostbahnhof.

“We are delighted to be able to add another important property to our portfolio with the PANDA Munich project. This mandate underlines our expertise and reliable work in the field of property management. In Union Investment, we have a partner with an impressive track record who shares our focus on quality and values it accordingly,” says Susanne Tattersall, Managing Partner of Tattersall Lorenz GmbH.

Federal Agency for Real Estate already confirmed as tenant.
The client is Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH, a subsidiary of Union Asset Management Holding AG, a member of the cooperative financial group. Within the Union Investment Group, it bundles the management and sale of real estate funds for institutional clients. A special feature of the property is that it is held by two funds, the special real estate fund UII German Prime Select and the closed-end investment company UII MS.

“In Tattersall Lorenz GmbH, we have found an experienced and reliable partner for the property management of PANDA Munich. We are convinced that the team led by Susanne Tattersall and Petra Demko-Gierth will meet the high demands of this project and look forward to working with them,” says Wolfgang Kessler, member of the management board of Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH.

The Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA) is already the sole tenant of the property. The public-law institution, which has its headquarters in Bonn, has signed a long-term lease. After completion, the premises will be used by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA). The space is expected to be handed over to the tenant in October 2024.
The total of 47,918 square meters of rentable space on two basement floors, the first floor and up to six upper floors includes 43,463 square meters of office space, 3,180 square meters of storage space as well as a canteen with 823 square meters and a daycare center with 452 square meters. Once completed, users will also have access to an underground car park with 309 individual parking spaces and 400 bicycle parking spaces. The roof areas will be partially greened, as will the inner courtyards, whereby the history of the former Zündapp site will be taken up. A Wired Score Gold and at least DGNB Gold certification are being sought.
