A software solution is only as good as the data it can work with—this well-known IT principle is one of the reasons why our colleague Jana Rautenberg takes on a dual role within our team. As a commercial property manager, she supports a diverse client base ranging from family offices to large real estate developers. At the same time, she serves as a key user for the property management software Realax, which we use, among other things, for service charge accounting.
The goal is for all client billing processes to be handled through this single system at all times. To achieve this, the quality of the master data must always be accurate and reliable.

When people think of the term “property management,” they often have a very clear—but somewhat distorted—picture in mind: lots of desk work, endless Excel spreadsheets full of numbers, and maybe a bit of brokerage activity. Maurice, one of our apprentices, quickly realized that the reality is far more diverse.

As of 1 January 2026, Johannes Ostwald has joined the Executive Management of talyo. Property Services GmbH. Previously Head of People & Culture at Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienmanagement GmbH, he is moving within the group and will assume the role of Authorized Signatory (Prokurist) and Director Corporate Services at talyo.
